He also enjoyed a research fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at Oulu University Hospital, Finland - where he earned a sub-specialisation in Clinical Genetics.
Peter oversees the rapidly changing field of genetic diagnostics, including carrier screening and pre-implantation genetic testing. He is keen to follow the latest advancements in reproductive medicine and is well-read about add-ons, supplements and alternative methods.
“As a fertility doctor, I have the privilege of caring for patients undergoing fertility treatment and those generously donating their eggs. My foremost responsibility is to alleviate any apprehension donors may have. Egg donation can be apprehensive for donors, but we ensure the process is as comfortable as possible. Skilled professionals conduct egg donation under sedation, and donors are given appropriate aftercare.”
