Your eggs are needed by women left infertile through medical or cancer treatment. By women who have gone though Premature Menopause, or have been diagnosed with premature Ovarian Failure. By women who can’t have a child with their own eggs, because of their age. All rely on egg donors to have any hope of a baby of their own.

At Manchester Fertility, we welcome people from all over the UK for treatment with donor eggs, because we’re one of the only clinics in the country to have its own successful egg donor programme. You could be the egg donor they’ve been hoping for. It doesn’t matter what you look like, how educated you are, or what you do for a living. The only factors that count when you apply to be an egg donor with us are your health and your age.

To donate eggs and join our Manchester Donors programme, you must be aged 18-35 and a non-smoker (or have quit smoking at least three months prior). You must also have no serious genetic or hereditary conditions that could be passed on.

If you meet this criteria, you could become an egg donor, but this doesn’t mean you’ll donate eggs straight away. There are many initial stages such as screening and counselling, before the actual egg donation procedure once a patient selects you.

Every stage is carefully timed so that your eggs are ready for your recipient to use at the right time in their treatment cycle, and we’ll make sure your all clinic appointments are as convenient as they can be for you, whilst supporting you throughout the process.
