Additional Information

Why donate?

Each year in the UK, thousands of women and couples learn that they are unable to conceive using their own eggs and require the assistance of an egg donor to start a family.

At the heart of egg donation is the desire to help someone fulfil their dream of having a family, but there are many reasons for this invaluable gift, which are often personal and unique to our donors. Whatever your reason, your kindness can significantly impact someone’s life.

Altruism

For our donors, egg donation is driven by the desire to help individuals or couples struggling with infertility and give them the opportunity to experience the joy of parenthood.

Financial compensation

In the UK, the Human Fertilisation & Embryology Authority (HFEA) sets egg donation compensation at £750 per donation cycle for your time and expenses.

Personal fulfilment

There’s no feeling quite like knowing you’ve profoundly impacted someone’s life. Egg donation can provide donors with immense personal satisfaction and empowerment.

Fertility ‘insight’

As part of the egg donation process, donors undergo health checks, which provide insight into your own fertility and reproductive health, allowing you to contemplate your future fertility.
